The Electronic Signature Congress 2004

SUMMARY

From June 10th to 11th, 2004, the first Electronic Signature Congress was held in the World Trade Center in Barcelona, and was organized by the Agència Catalana de Certificació – CATCert, in the framework of Administració Oberta de Catalunya, with a high participation rate:

413 accredited delegates
33 speakers
20 exhibiting companies
8 Autonomous Communities

With delegates attending from the whole Catalonia and other Autonomous Communities in Spain, and first order speakers from public institutions, and private entities leading the digital certification sector on a national and international level, the Congress's excellent reception has shown the great interest in implementing the digital signature in public administrations and in its projection in citizen relations.
