The Catalan Certification Agency - CATCert, an autonomous entity in the framework of the Open Administration of Catalonia, organized by fourth consecutive year "The Electronic Signature Congress (JSe)" from the 29th to 30th of October 2007 at the Hall of Congress premises of Fira Barcelona, which represents the meeting point of the persons in charge from the public scope (politicians, elect representatives, managers, etc.) as well as of the private scope (presidents, general managers, TIC managers, juridical managers, etc.)

The IV JSe, with 26 offered conferences, and previously developed tutorial sessions before its inauguration, has meant another step to the debate for the digital certification. It has received more than 800 registered attendees coming from all over the Spanish State and has been supported by more than eighty private companies and organisations (Universities, Certification Authorities, Professional Colleges and Commercial Chambers). |

The delivery of the III CATCert Awards of the electronic signature and the dinner
The past 30th of October in the evening took place the 3rd CATCert Awards Ceremony, addressed to the best electronic signature initiatives.
Those awards, convoked every year by the Catalan Certification Agency , have as objective the recognition of the effort made by the organisations in order to promote the use of the electronic signatures.
