The progressive incorporation of electronic means to the management of processes and archivistic funds presents important challenges in relation to the treatment of the documents and processes in paper, through the possibility of its digitalization. With the Law of electronic access of the citizens to the public services (LAECSP) one gives legal support to the genuineness of the copies of documents generated by digitalization, and it allows the destruction of the original ones, as laid down in the criteria that the Administrations apply in fulfillment of the legislation. This presentation will explore this new legally qualified possibility.
