The issue of identification and management of user capacity poses challenges in a scenario of massive IT use, as is expected to be the case in the relatively near future. This presentation will thus discuss challenges such as those of: identification policies and managing the representation of special needs groups, as, for instance, disabled people, companies and so forth; and management of identities on a pan-European level, etc. The solutions provided by projects such as STORK and PASSI will also be presented.
