Continuing its annual tradition, the Catalan Certification Agency (Agència Catalana de Certificació, or CATCert), aware of the importance of incentivising and spreading the use of electronic signature technology in order to attain a truly secure e-society, is holding the fifth edition of the CATCert Electronic Signature Awards. These awards, which recognize the effort and excellence of organizations in fostering and bettering the use of electronic signatures, shall be given out on the evening of 11 November at a ceremony with some 400 people attending, at the Barcelona World Trade Center. A jury consisting of professionals and experts in electronic signature shall analyze the projects submitted and choose the wining candidate in each category. The decisions will not be made public until the awards ceremony. This year’s edition of the CATCert Awards will have the following categories: |
